# Welcome to WifiPadi

> What WifiPadi does, and how to use this guide.

## What WifiPadi does

You are a business owner. You have customers at one or more locations. WifiPadi lets you sell WiFi access to these customers.

WifiPadi gives you:

* A payment page for your customers. This page is called a **captive portal**.
* Plans with a price, a time limit, and a data limit that you control.
* Direct payment to your own Paystack, Monnify, or Flutterwave account. WifiPadi does not hold your money.
* One dashboard for every location you run.

A **gateway** is the router at your location. It connects your internet line to your customers' devices and shows them the captive portal. WifiPadi supports two gateway types: a Nano Pi that ships ready to use, and your own MikroTik router.
