Before you start

Have this information ready:
  • Your business name.
  • The email address of the account owner.
  • The phone number of the account owner.

Steps

  1. Go to app.wifipadi.com/register.
  2. Enter your business name. WifiPadi fills in a dashboard address based on this name. You can change the dashboard address.
  3. Enter the owner’s email address and phone number. Use a number on WhatsApp if you have one.
  4. Choose your country. Read the next section before you do — this one is permanent.
  5. Create a password. The password must have at least 8 characters.
  6. Check the dashboard address field. This address has the form yourname.wifipadi.com. You and your team use this address to sign in to your dashboard. Your customers never see it.
  7. If another business gave you a referral code, enter it. See Refer and earn.
  8. Select Start 21-day free trial. No card is needed.

Choose your country carefully

Your country is not just an address. It decides two things you cannot change afterwards:
  • Your currency. Every price you set and every figure you are shown is in it.
  • Which payment providers you can use. A provider that cannot sign up merchants in your country is not offered, because its checkout would simply fail.
Typing a phone number with an international dialling code moves the country selector to match it, so check the country field after you enter your phone number.
Pick the country your merchant account is in, not where you happen to be sitting. Your currency is sent to the payment provider on every charge, and a currency your merchant account cannot settle makes the checkout fail rather than quietly convert.

Your dashboard address is permanent

yourname.wifipadi.com cannot be changed after signup. If you later want your own address for the dashboard or for the page guests log in on, add a custom domain. The original address keeps working underneath.
