Business details

Below them, three read-only facts:
  • Workspace address — your yourname.wifipadi.com address, with a copy button. This is where guests reach your portal until you add a custom domain.
  • Paid locations — how many sites you are billed for.
  • Member since — when the workspace was created.
The workspace address cannot be changed after signup. If you need a different one, add a custom domain — that becomes the address guests see, and the original keeps working underneath.

Portal branding

Settings → Portal branding shows a preview of what guests see — your display name and welcome text. Editing happens in Portal Studio, which opens from the button on that card. Everything about the guest-facing page lives there: logo, colours, welcome text and support details.

Security

Settings → Security covers how you sign in.

Password

Change it with your current password plus the new one twice. Changing your password does not sign out your other devices.

Two-factor authentication

Set up an authenticator app — 1Password, Google Authenticator, Authy or similar — by scanning the QR code and entering the six-digit code once to confirm.
Save your recovery codes when they are shown. They appear once. Without them, losing your authenticator means losing access to the workspace, and each code works only once.
The page shows how many recovery codes you have left. Two-factor is optional for business owners and mandatory for platform administrators. Worth turning on if you take real money through the workspace: your dashboard can refund payments, grant free access and close the account.

Closing the account

Settings → Close account permanently closes the workspace and erases its data. Closing will:
  • cancel every customer’s active plan and disconnect them
  • stop your routers authenticating anyone, immediately
  • delete your saved payment, email and WhatsApp credentials
This is immediate and cannot be undone. Guests lose access the moment it completes, including anyone on a plan they have already paid for.
You confirm by typing your workspace address and entering your password. Before closing, consider:
  • Refund or let plans expire first. Active plans are cancelled, not refunded — customers who paid for time they never got will come to you, not to us.
  • Export what you need. Payments → Export Monthly Statement gives you a CSV and a printable PDF of your sales. Take one for every month you care about while the workspace is open; afterwards the data is gone.
  • Your money is already yours. Payments settled into your own provider account and are unaffected.
Your email address and workspace address are released when the account closes, so you can sign up again with the same ones later. It will be a new, empty workspace — nothing carries over.
Your workspace address being released also means somebody else can claim it. If the name matters to you, that is a reason not to close.

If you only want to pause

Closing is not how you stop paying for a while. Let your subscription lapse instead — see Your subscription. A lapsed workspace is suspended: guests cannot buy, your routers stop authorising, and nothing is deleted. Your locations, plans, customers, history and settings all wait for you. Pay again and everything switches back on exactly as you left it, with no re-setup and no re-provisioning of routers. That is almost always what someone arriving at Close account actually wants.
