Right after you create your account, WifiPadi sends a confirmation link to the owner’s email address. Open that email and select the link.
Until you do, an amber banner sits at the top of your dashboard. You can still sign in and work — what you cannot do is the handful of things that reach the outside world.
What is locked until you confirm
Everything else is open. Add your location, draft your plans, design your portal and invite your team while you wait.
These four are locked together for one reason: each of them ends with a stranger paying you money. If we cannot reach you by email, we cannot tell you when a payment fails, a router drops offline, or a customer is stuck — and you would hear it from the customer instead.
If the email has not arrived
- Check your spam or promotions folder.
- Check the address you typed at signup. Settings → Workspace shows the address on file.
- Select Resend email on the banner. There is a one-minute wait between sends.
If the link says it did not work
Confirmation links are single-use and expire after a few days. Opening one twice — which some mail apps do on their own — spends it.
Select Resend email to get a fresh one. Only the newest link works.
If you confirmed in another browser or on your phone and the banner is still showing, select I’ve confirmed to re-check without signing out.
Team members
Staff you invite skip this step. Redeeming a team invitation confirms that address by itself, because the invitation was sent to it.
Confirmation is per person, not per business. If your manager confirms, your owner account is still unconfirmed until you open your own link — and the payment keys are owner-only, so the owner is the account that has to do it.
